In order to benefit from the provisions of the new “Student Dollar” Law (No. 193/2020 dated 10/16/2020), Lebanese students enrolled in US Universities/Colleges or Higher Technical Institutes (prior to the 2020-2021 academic year) are required to fill out the following online survey (click here).
This mechanism is launched and managed by the Parliamentary Education and Culture Committee to follow up on the proper implementation of the aforementioned law and provide Lebanese banks with details and information. The Consulate General of Lebanon in Los Angeles has no access to the content of the filled surveys and no power or say in the decision of the banks.
The Consulate General of Lebanon offices will be closed on Monday, November 23 in observance of the Independence Day of Lebanon, and on Friday, November 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.
